Clough, in alliance with the Roe 7 and Main Roads Western Australia, completed Stage 7 of the Roe Highway development, extending the highway from South Street to the Kwinana Freeway.
The project involved 4.5 kilometres of four lane controlled access highway to freeway standards, a grade separation at South Street and Karel Avenue with associated bridges and on/off ramp connections to Roe Highway, a grade separated “freeway - freeway” interchange at the Kwinana Freeway Pedestrian/cyclist facilities with grade separation , fauna facilities linking the road reserve and adjacent nature reserves, a Principal Shared Path along the northern side of the new Highway alignment and widening adjacent sections of the Kwinana Freeway and associated rail bridges.
The project formed a vital link in the planned Perth metropolitan regional road network between the National Highway “gateway” in the Eastern Corridor, strategic industrial areas in Perth’s eastern and southern suburbs, and the Southwest region of the State.
