Clough, in a joint venture with STREICHER, completed the contract for the construction of onshore pipelines and associated umbilical and cable installation's for BHP’s Macedon Gas Project near Onslow, Western Australia.

The project involved the construction of the onshore pipeline system comprising of wet gas pipeline, a shore crossing, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), umbilical lines and the sales gas pipeline construction.

The project also involved the instalment of two 14-kilometre umbilical cables containing electrical and communication cables, and hydraulic and chemical lines, between the onshore gas pipeline and dune crossing for connection to the offshore section of the umbilical.
