Clough completed the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) contract, hook-up, and commission activities for a new wellhead platform on OMV's Maari Field Development, located in the Taranaki Basin in the Tasman Sea, some 80km from the west coast of New Zealand's North Island.

The project consisted of the procurement, construction, and installation of the Maari platform (base, support structure and process deck), which weighs nearly 10,000 tonnes.

The delivery of the platform base included the construction of a 145-metre-high jacket, with a 50-metre x 55 metre topsides deck and suction base, and topside facilities including accommodation, a crane, and helideck, which were all fully installed during the initial fabrication phase.
