Clough, as part of the Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon (KJVG), was contracted by Chevron Australia to undertake the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) for all downstream facilities on the Gorgon Project.

KJVG also completed the Pre-FEED and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for this project.

The Gorgon project involved the construction of a three-train, nominal 15.6MTPA liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility on Barrow Island and a domestic gas plant with the capacity to provide 300 terajoules of gas per day to Western Australia.

KJVG completed the design, procurement, construction and engineering of downstream facilities including:
•    Three 5.2 million tonnes per annum LNG processing trains
•    Over 200,000 tonnes of modularised facilities
•    Utilities and infrastructure, including a substation, control buildings, office buildings, and a materials offloading facility 
•    Two 180,000 cubic metre LNG tanks and four 38,000 cubic metre condensate tanks
•    2.1-kilometre-long LNG Jetty, with two loading berths
•    Butler Park – a cyclone rated construction village 
•    Domestic gas plant with the capacity to provide 300 terajoules per day
