Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!   

  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the ‘Project CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. 

 
We are currently searching for a Site QC Coordinator to join our Karratha-based team (19:9 FIFO Rotation) on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, this position will be responsible for the daily coordination of the Site Quality Control inspections. The Site QC Coordinator will also take a lead role in the generation of Inspection requests and the compilation of the turnover documentation.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the Site QM in defining the Project Quality Control System.
  • Support the Site QM in planning and allocating QC Inspectors to the various area of the project, ensuring coordination of assigned personnel.
  • Review Quality Control Plans, verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out.
  • Check procedures and equipment to be used in tests.
  • Verify the implementation of the inspection, control and inspection notification process.
  • Check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out and their orderly collection and management, mechanical completion included.
  • Provide specialist support to the Site QM in interfacing with the Client and third parties.

Key Requirements  

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a project Quality Coordinator or related quality leadership role.
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and motivating multi-discipline teams of site quality personnel.
  • Experience working with Construction Codes including AS/NZS1554, ASME B31.3, B31.8, API 620, API 650, ASME Section IX, NACE, NEC, etc.

Qualification Requirements

  • Management Diploma or Associated Degree.
  • Lead Auditor in QMS requirements
  • CSWIP 3.2.1 Snr Welding Inspector
  • WTIA Cert 10 Welding Supervisor
