Senior Project Engineer

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Perdaman Project team in Karratha, WA on a 19:9 roster. You will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement and construction elements for the civil (buildings) construction scope of the project. The Senior Project Engineer will also play a key role in collaborating with all levels of management across the project, as well as interfacing with Client and other key external stakeholder representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.
  • Providing the project with ongoing engineering support while monitoring compliance with company, policies and design requirements.
  • Coordination of a variety of stakeholders including the Project Engineering team, Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client and Vendors to deliver packages of work.
  • Preparing technical specifications for equipment and package procurement.
  • Work across buildings scope of the Perdaman project, inclusive of CCR, substations, warehouses, NPI & associated infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ Years experience in as a Project Engineer in a construction or resources environment
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience delivering with engineering and construction packages
  • A solutions-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving results in a safe and timely manner.
  • Knowledge of Project Management – Cost, Planning Reporting
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site (FIFO).
