Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for a Heritage Manager on a 19:9 rotation to join our project team. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for working closely with indigenous stakeholders, council and local community in order to preserve heritage sites, as well as maximize supplier, contract and employment opportunities for local businesses and jobseekers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating and adhering to WHS processes and procedures in all social delivery activities. 
     
  • Leading the implementation of the Local Industry Participation Plan, Heritage and Indigenous Plan relating to Local Content and Indigenous Engagement. 
     
  • Collaborating and coordinating Procurement, Commercial (subcontracts) and HR teams to support the Local Industry Participation Plan and Heritage and Indigenous Plan. 
     
  • Assisting with the preparation and (on occasion) delivering external presentations on local industry participation case studies, events highlighting local industry opportunities and successes. 
     
  • Participating in external meetings involving Federal, State, Industry and Regional Economic Bodies to facilitate Local Content Outcomes. 
     
  • Working collaboratively with the construction, commercial and workforce development and industry participation teams to manage and ensure direct and subcontractor compliance against contractual commitments to deliver participation in the areas of local and Indigenous business and employment. 
     
  • Supporting local and Indigenous suppliers to participate in evaluations and contracts. 
     
  • Providing advice to local and Indigenous suppliers on opportunities to access funding for business improvement. 
     
  • Facilitating preferred bidders to submit detailed Subcontractor Local Industry Participation and Indigenous Engagement Plans and Summary Schedules and reviews. 
     
  • Providing referral advice and direction to suppliers and contractors on employment programs that help maximise the employment opportunities for local jobseekers. 
     
  • Coordinating and managing a strong network of contacts and strong collaborative relationships across Indigenous communities, business, and industry, relevant federal, state and local government agencies to maximise local content and Indigenous participation and job outcomes for the Region.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business, Human Resources or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of qualifications, training and experience. 
  • Experience in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of people including local and Indigenous businesses and community groups. 
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability action work independently and follow tasks through to completion. 
  • Integrity, attention to detail, time consciousness, accountability, teamwork ability. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • High level of computer Literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and working with online platforms and databases. 
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site (FIFO).
