Clough has an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Services Officer (ESO) to join the Waitsia Team in Dongara! In this role, you will attend to emergency and first aid calls and apply the appropriate medical treatment and care for our site project team.

Clough is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. We are currently looking for multiple Emergency Services Officers for BIBO roles from Perth. POH from any capital city in Australia on a 2/1 roster.

Your focus will include:

  • Emergency Management for the Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery of incidents and risks to site personnel across the project.

  • Medical Emergency response site wide for the treatment application of emergency and non-emergency medical conditions in accordance with approved clinical practice guidelines.

  • Co-ordination of the Emergency Response Team to ensure readiness and availability for response prior to commencement of site high risk works.

  • Provide medical treatment as defined by treatment protocols and maintain confidential medical records (for site-based personnel).

  • Emergency response preparedness, including delivery of emergency response training and inspections.

  • Participate in investigations and follow up on the outcomes for all OHSE related matters.

  • Conduct safety meetings, including the promotion of a strong safety culture and focused training outcomes.

  • Administration support including but not limited to INX.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41115) with post course experience as a minimum.

  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (RII30715) or Certificate III in Public Safety - Firefighting and Emergency Operations (PUA30613) - Ideally with Confined Space Rescue.

  • Clear experience in a similar role of First Aid, Health Care or Emergency Services.

  • Comprehensive technical understanding of risk management and/or operational construction/engineering/mining experience.

  • White card

  • A current police clearance.

  • Class A and HR licences.
